Shortly after our founding in 1857, we published the first issue of the Transactions of the Moravian Historical Society. In 2006, we collaborated with our affiliate, The Moravian Archives, to expand the Transactions into the biannual Journal of Moravian History; a scholarly publication featuring articles, book reviews, and translations of original source material related to Moravian history. The Journal is now published in cooperation with Pennsylvania State University Press and is recognized as the leading scholarly periodical on Moravian history in English. Subscribe to the Journal of Moravian History today!
Our biannual newsletter, Abundant Heritage Newsletter of The Moravian Historical Society shares information about activites, events, and programs at our organzation. We also seek to share what else is going on throughout the Moravian communities. To receive your paper copy of the newsletter, become a member today!
