MUSIC AGAIN TO FILL THE AIR OF NAZARETH

The second season of outdoor Concerts on the Green in Nazareth will feature an all Lehigh Valley lineup. The concerts are sponsored by the Moravian Historical Society and Moravian Hall Square Retirement Community.
The series will debut at 7 p.m. May 23 with the Nazareth Community Band under the direction of Ralph Brodt III. The Nazareth String Quartet, made up of high school musicians, will open the concert.
The second concert, at 7 p.m. June 20, will feature Rob Stoneback Big Band and Fresh Vegetables at 7 p.m. in the Pleasure Gardens of Moravian Hall Square Retirement Community, 175 W. North St.
The final concert in the series, at 7 p.m. July 18, will feature the Main Street Brass, preceded by Bethlehem soprano Evelyn Stewart performing on the Whitefield House lawn.
Concerts are free and open to the public. The grounds open at 6 p.m. and pre-concert entertainment begins at 6:15 p.m. In case of rain, the concerts are held the following Thursday. Members of the audience should bring chairs or blankets. Picnic suppers and snacks can also be brought.
Concerts are supported by grants from the borough, Nazareth National Bank, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the Arts with special assistance from the Martin Guitar Co.
