BETHLEHEM CLERGYMAN TAKES HELM OF HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Rev. Dr. Albert H. Frank of Bethlehem was elected president of the Moravian Historical Society at its 141st annual business meeting and vesper held recently in Nazareth.

Frank succeeds the Rev. Charles W. Eichman of Bethlehem, who was president for six years.

Serving with Frank will be Eichman, the Rev. Robert F. Englebrecht and the Rev. Dr. David A. Schattschneider, both of Bethlehem, and Jean Haupt and Evelyn Huth, both of Nazareth, all vice presidents; Emma D. Williams of Newfoundland, Wayne County, secretary, and Linda C. Cook of Nazareth, treasurer.

Re-elected to the board of managers were Darrell Crook, Berlie Dishong, John Halbing and Glenn Hertzog, all of Nazareth; Frederick Koehler of Bath, and the Rev. J. Thomas Minor and Rose Nehring, both of Bethlehem.

Frank is assistant archivist for the Northern Province of the Moravian Church in America. He also manages an extensive microfilming project for the Moravian Music Foundation, Winston-Salem, N.C.

Previously, he served the Moravian Church in the Eastern West Indies for five years and pastored for congregations in Philadelphia and Dover, Ohio.

A graduate of Moravian College and Moravian Theological Seminary, he received a graduate degree from Drew University.
