Join us on Saturday, February 18th for the annual "Little Dolls, a Little Tea" party!
Little girls, their dolls, family and friends will enjoy two different tea party styles: Moravian (Colonial period) and Victorian period. A "behind the scenes" presentation of special dolls from the museum collection is not to be missed.
Adults accompanying the girls may support the Moravian Historical Society by participating in a raffle. Some of the raffle items include: an American Girl doll, gift certificates and services donated from local businesses, doll accessories, site rental discounts, a basket of staff favorites from the book shop and more. 100% of the proceeds support our efforts to preserve and share history.
Time:10am and 2pm.
Age: Recommended age is 5 years and up. Other ages are welcome based on the parent’s discretion.
Price: $60 for a little girl, an adult and her doll. $30 per additional adult.
Reservations are strongly recommended. Please contact our friendly staff by phone. |

It is with great excitement that we announce
the affiliation of the Moravian Historical Society with the
Moravian Archives. Each will still be two distinct organizations
with their own Boards of Managers and with separate funding.
We will share staff under
the direction of Paul Peucker, Archivist and Director of the
Moravian Archives. Kelly Givens will continue to serve as Business Manager
of the Historical Society. Megan van Ravenswaay has joined the team as Site Director for
the Whitefield House.
As you can see as we enter
the new year there are many exciting things in store for both
the Archives and the Historical Society.
We also want to take this opportunity
to thank you for your continued support. Without your financial
help and your gifts of time and service we would not be able
to function as the special Society that we are.
- The Board of Directors
